 Since its beginning as a contractor in 1973, The Richardson Group has
been a name associated with construction excellence in the Southern
California building industry. The Richardson Group is a non-union
Commercial General Contractor providing construction services to our
clients in Office, Industrial, Retail and Medical facilities. Our
commitment to service and principal involvement in all company
operations is the key to maintaining the high level of quality that is
evident in all of our projects.
Organizational Philosophy
The reputation of The Richardson Group is based on our philosophy that
we should add value to our clients’ projects; that we should assure the
project meets our clients’ expectations; and that the project be
delivered on time, within budget and with a smooth
transition/occupancy. We view our role as proactive in order to
anticipate and avoid difficulties, rather than reactive which allow for
change orders and increased costs.
The Richardson Group was established by Mr. Kimm A. Richardson after he
received a degree in Construction Management from Long Beach State.
Prior to incorporating The Richardson Group in 1976, Mr. Richardson
provided Building Design and Drafting services, as Pacific Design and
Development, for several Industrial Real Estate Developers throughout

Qualification Statement
The
Richardson Group was incorporated in the State of California on
December 8, 1976, and has operated as a General Contractor since
January 27, 1977. Prior to that time the organization operated as
Richardson Development Corporation (dba: Pacific Design and
Development), a Building Designer, completing construction documents
for several clients and projects throughout Southern California.
The Richardson Group
is currently licensed in the State of California (Lic. #330639) and the
State of Arizona (Lic. #127828). The firm has never failed to complete
any work awarded to it.
